KEEPER OF THE UNIVERSE

A man was there, wretched, cold and money-less;
He wondered what he did that he was in such a mess:
Was it loving and making his world revolve and remain static
Or was it because to the other world he was empathetic?
The man was the Keeper of the Universe and yet
Which Universe would keep his worry, fuss and fret?
The friends that he thought he had, were but other planets
And thus he resorts to writing strange sonnets.
Hear him out y’all, hear him out at least, and give your ears a feast:
And especially the one that was his sun he deserves that at least.
Of money shall he talk about, the green he does not have
So drowns he in the open sea better than to be a slave;
And talks he about misery, the misery of a friend
And the helplessness he feels for the misery he cannot end;
The cold does not help his cause and yet smile must he
For in the freezing winter nights the world’s beacon is he;
Alas, the man feels the need to cast himself off the sky
But what would the world achieve alas, if he were to die?
The man was the Keeper of the Universe and yet
Which universe would keep his worry, fuss and fret?
The friends that he thought he had, were but other planets
And thus he resorts to writing strange sonnets.

INSPIRATIONS

Earth, fire, wind, water and ether in proportions combine:
Thus, the Lord crafted with His hands divine -
First the creatures of the wet, fishes and sharls,
Higher and better, came the crows and larks,
Then came the mammals, tall and strong,
Until finally man, the one that went wrong.

Adam married Even under a starry sky
The Earth sand, creatures danced, all spirits high.
Poisoned by a snake, Satan, she plucked from the tree
Bit into the apple: the first crime of eternity.
Banished from Eden, they walked away
Moving through the Earth, night and day.
All sons and daughters paid for the crime
Drew inspirations and crafted, so serving time.

Forests would burn at the Lord's ire,
Upon a stick, man discovered fire.
Trees would dance to the Wind and his flute
Amazed, man accompanied, strumming the lute.
Out of the ashes rose the Tower of Babel;
Many years later, came Cain and Abel.
For many year dud thus, man pacify the Lord
Then bored, changed tactic and forged the sword.

Inspired by the Father no more, didn't want to please
Sided with the Usurper and began to tease.
With the help of the new master, war was born,
By famine, disease, death and destruction Gaia is torn.
This humble poet is saddened by the lack of concern
The reason for his brothers' anger cannot discern.

All I can do is sit and wonder
Why Mother Eve had so blundered?
The source of the evil inspirations isn't hard to find,
Oh foolish people, stop, look within your mind!
Get up and put an end to the Devil;
He's played long enough, its time for revival.
Drop your armour, lay down your guns
'Tis time again to by inspired by the One.

Understand my message, it isn't too hard:
For your own sakes, listen to this bard.
