The weather is cold, and the night air stings,
All around the wind whistles and trees sing.
I shiver a little, unclothed, in a world uncaring:
My pathetic, wounded body is yours for staring.
I have no more wishes, the worst has happened:
I feel so alone, so morose and disheartened;
The world is wicked for I am invisible,
No longer a sister, no longer a daughter,
Just an object for a man's carnal pleasure.
Am I not a woman, another human being,
Or am I a mere piece of china without any feeling?
"Ibilis" controls a city called "Nayi Dilli".
ReplyDeleteThere dictates are the rule of law after Sunset.
We have a Silent and Mum, Cenrtal administration
and local administration. If they wake up to facts
and act, "Dilli" might become a Heaven for ordinary folks to live. Adopt certain laws, that are in vogue in Arab Countries; implement them, rigorously and cincerely; Let Politicians keep there hands away from Police force; things will change.
Instead of thinking about next elections and about bringing American tycoons to India; if they think about plight of the common beings,
India can be converted to a "Swargha Raajya"
If all politicians start thinking about a Great Bharath; then they must forget about their position and about the Urchins, whom they are trying to Prop up; then we will be able to say "My Bhaarath Mahaan Hei"
